Jeremy Awori has landed a job at Ecobank as Group CEO, to head 35 countries that the bank is present in days after resigning from the Absa Bank of Kenya. Awori will be leaving Absa in the month of October with the board now hunting for his replacement.
Mr. Awori, who has been at the helm of Absa Bank Kenya for 10 years, will be replacing Ade Ayeyemi. The news of his movement to Ecobank, however, seems to be still moving within the deepest circles that haven’t really surfaced to make it public.
