Radio Africa Group To Fire Employees

A few days after the Nation Media Group (NMG) announced plans to cut its workforce due to a change in operations, Radion Africa Group followed suit with a similar announcement.

In an Internal Memo seen by Soko Directory, Radio Africa says the shift in the media industry and the diminishing revenue is why they will reorganize and might lead to job cuts.

Here is the statement from the media house:

At the same time,  Capital FM has informed employees to be ready for salary reductions starting this December due to the company’s inability to make more revenue.

The station has accused employees of failing to bring in revenue for the company despite receiving 100 percent of their salaries.
