Weekly equity turnover rose by 35.0% w-o-w to close at USD 11.71 MN (KES 1.69 BN). NSE 20 and NASI eased by 3.9% and 2.6% w-o-w to close at 1,532.46 and 101.35, respectively.

Foreign investors assumed a net buying position by accounting for 56.0% of total market purchases and 50.4% of total market sales.

Weekly bond turnover eased by 5.6% w-o-w to close at USD 96.15 MN (KES 13.86 BN). 91-day and 364-day T-bills rose by 37 bps and 41 bps to close at 13.475% and 13.746%, respectively.  182-day T-bill  eased by 16 bps  to close at 13.276%

USD|KES: KES weakened by 0.4% w-o-w to close at 144.18 (-16.9% year-to-date).

FX Reserve: Import cover eased by 1.0% w-o-w to close at 3.98 months (-4.6% year-to-date).
