It Is Not Just About The Money, NCBA Says As It Marks One Year For Ngong’ Branch

NCBA Bank held a breakfast session on Friday morning to celebrate one year since the opening and launch of the NCBA Ngong branch, banking the success of the branch on great customer service among staff and the trust that customers have in them.

“It’s not just about money for us. Many other factors affect businesses. They can include managing staff and marketing. Together with our partners, we are broadening the minds of entrepreneurs through our non-financial products”, said Susan Ndung’u, the head of SME Banking at NCBA.

Speaking during the session, Mr. Tirus Mwithiga, Group Director, Retail Banking, said the lender is always striving to support their customers to achieve their green goals. He said that NCBA’s goal is to always leave a mark and change the story for everyone.

“At NCBA, it is about building sustainable business and supporting our customers in their green goals is why we launched our Sustainability commitments under our ‘Change the Story’ Initiatives,” he said. “The presence of NCBA in Ngong Town has been instrumental not only to businesses but the entire economy of this area,” he added.

On his part, Mr. Joseph Kabochi, Senior Investments Manager at NCBA, reiterated the bank’s commitment to helping customers find positive solutions. “At NCBA we are walking with our customers to find solutions to the challenges businesses are facing in the current economic times.”

Emphasizing the importance of supporting entrepreneurship and businesses, Jane Ng’ang’a, Head of Branch Business said NCBA will always play a role in supporting all kinds of businesses. “Business is all about supporting each other and NCBA would not be a business without the support of the community.”
