Each year, a panel of experts is assembled to award the Mining Indaba Responsible Resourcing Awards recognizing sustainable mining practices and positive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

This week in Cape Town a total of nine Responsible Resourcing Awards were awarded. In a remarkable recognition of the company’s success and commitment to sustainability, Base Resources, the parent company to Kenya’s Base Titanium, won three of the awards.

Tim Carstens, Managing Director of Base Resources, commented: “We are honored to receive these awards, which underscore our commitment to responsible and sustainable mining practices.
