NCBA Hosts Corporate Golf Day at Karen to Strengthen Stakeholder Ties

NCBA

Over 100 invited golfers and guests gathered at Karen Country Club for the NCBA Corporate Golf Day, a premium sporting and networking event that continued to cement golf as a key pillar of the bank’s stakeholder engagement strategy.

The tournament, which was not part of the main NCBA Golf Series calendar, saw golfers compete over 18 holes in a format designed to promote friendly competition, sportsmanship and meaningful engagement. Participants were drawn from NCBA’s corporate clients, High-Net-Worth Individuals and strategic partners, who also enjoyed curated hospitality experiences throughout the day.

The event, which made a comeback after its last edition in 2018, formed part of NCBA Group’s broader and sustained investment in golf as a platform for strategic engagement. Over the past five years, the bank had strengthened its presence in the sport through flagship initiatives such as the annual NCBA Golf Series and the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship, among other competitive and development-focused tournaments across the country.

Through these engagements, NCBA positioned itself as a leading corporate supporter of golf in Kenya, backing both elite competition and amateur participation while creating meaningful touchpoints with stakeholders in a relationship-driven environment.

Speaking ahead of the event, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora noted that the Corporate Golf Day underscored the Group’s deliberate investment in relationship-driven growth and long-term partnership building.

“At NCBA, we understand that sustainable growth is built on trust, consistency, and shared ambition. The Corporate Golf Day was more than a sporting event; it was an opportunity to pause, connect, and appreciate the clients and partners who continued to grow with us. Beyond financial solutions, we remained committed to creating meaningful engagements that strengthened relationships and unlocked new possibilities together,” he said.
