JACQUELINE WAWERU
The Managing Director of the Anchorage, she is passionate about win-win situations in business and life. Jacqueline believes individuals and corporations should get value for their money.
She has worked extensively in financial planning, securities and investment sector mainly with State Street Global Inc. based New Jersey, USA. Locally she has worked in compliance and policy departments of Public Procurement Oversight Authority. She has also undertaken independent contractor assignments for clients especially in regard to project management and business planning.
Born in Kenya, she is a USA educated with a Master of Business Administration in Forensic Accounting from Rider University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Kean University, both in New Jersey. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
PETER WERE
One of the founder directors of the Anchorage, Peter is guided by the twin philosophy of “adding value to value added’; and continuous improvement through diversity and inclusivity, Peter is passionate about business performance improvement.
Peter has worked both in Kenya ( mostly at East African Breweries) and USA variously as an accountant, sales and distribution manager, business developer-performance improvement and as an independent contractor and trainer mainly with small and medium size enterprises with a focus on financial planning and business performance improvement with a view to enhance growth and profitability.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Edinburgh Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Kenya .He also completed Uniform CPA examination, USA. Regarding quality management, he holds a certificate in Total Quality Management from University of South Africa.
