Mumias Sugar Declines 6.67 Percent To Emerge Top Loser

The NSE 20 gained 1.55 points to close at 4,814.11 while NASI shed 0.07 points to close at 161.43. Kakuzi was the highest market gainer edging up 7.49 percent to close the day at KES 330.00.

Mumias Sugar emerged the top loser, declining by 6.67 percent to close the day at KES 2.10.

The volume of shares traded rose by 374.36 percent to close at 35.16mn. Total turnover went up 733.22 percent to close at KES 1,864.42mn. Equity Group was the largest mover of the day with a turnover of KES 889.74mn representing 47.72 percent of total market turnover.

Foreign buys stood at 50.34 percent of total turnover, while foreign sales stood at 50.81 percent of total turnover.

CRDB Bank was the top loser of the day declining by 2.44 percent to close at TZS 400.00. Total volumes were recorded at 379,507 shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 207.76mn.
