The volume of shares traded shed off 89.58 percent to close at 12.91mn. Total turnover also fell by 71.10 percent to close at KES 511.80mn. KCB Bank was the largest mover of the day with aturnover of KES 211.60mn representing 41.34 percent of the total market turnover.
Foreign buys stood at 54.01 percent of total turnover, while foreign sales stood at 81.41 percent of total turnover.

Tanga Cement Company rose 0.53 percent to close at TZS 15,100.00 to become top gainer. Africa Barrick Gold shed off 2.00 percent to close at TZS 7,830.00 emerging as top loser. Total volumes were recorded at 340,538 shares. Total turnover closed at TZS 1.22bn.
