Shupavu291 is a Short Messaging Service (SMS) study tool from Safaricom which enables pupils in class 6, 7 and 8 to access KCPE aligned content, tutorials and quizzes that are based on the 8-4-4 primary school curriculum with content arranged in subjects and topics.

To use the Shupavu291 service, one must register on the service by dialing *291# on your Safaricom line after which you will be provided with a list of options from the number 20851. Follow the prompts and the pupil will be ready to start your journey to success in education.

There is no need to register each time you want to do a quiz. The only thing you need is to check your inbox for any messages from 20851 and just begin from wherever you had left because the system remembers where you were.

This service is available for both postpaid and prepaid subscribers on the Safaricom network.
