Legendary Singer from Boney M is in Kenya

The legendary singer from the group Boney M is in the country, Sheyla Bonnick is here with the Sound of Boney M members who include Maya, Noel and Angie, a tribute version of the Iconic Boney M.

The group which will be here till Sunday is set to give a special performance this Saturday at the Safari Park hotel “words cannot explain how happy I am to be in Kenya” she said at a press conference held today at Villa Rosa Kempinsky “I am hoping to mingle with the people here, have so much fun on stage and I hope to see everyone happy and dancing along”

The group has been together for 5years and attributes this to team work  “ no one is perfect but our respect  for each other has gotten us  a long way”  Said Angie  “ also the fact that we have other things  we do on the side helps us not to be so much on each other’s neck”

The 65year old singer looks amazingly youthful and attributes this to simply leaving a healthy, stress-free life “ I exercise a lot, sleep at least 8hours a day  and make sure I go to the spa  at least once in a while ” She also had advise to Kenyan artistes “love what you do but don’t be obsessed and always stay humble”

The opening acts for the much awaited event will be the lethal ladies from London who are expected to give an electric performance after the Safari cats who will be the opening act. The songs she is expected to perform include, Rasputin, Daddy Cool, By The Rivers of Babylon, Brown girl in the rain among other ‘surprises.’ Tickets can be bought online on Kaymu.
