The Nairobi Securities Exchange closed today with new entrants on the top gainers and losers slots at the same time.

Kapchorua Tea Company is the top gainer of the day with a price of 22o shillings per share and a positive deviation of 10.00 percent tying in position with Express Limited with a price of 4.95 shillings per share and a positive deviation of 10.00 percent.

On the other hand, Home Africa Limited has maintained the same position it had yesterday as the top loser with a price of 2.25 shillings per share and a negative deviation of 10.00 percent. Sasini Tea and Coffee Limited follows closely as the second top loser with a price of 17.60 shillings per share and a negative deviation of 9.74 percent.

Despite featuring among the top losers today, Equity Group Holdings is still among the movers on the market with a total volume of 1.04 Million as well as a total market capital of 148.12 Billion.

Safaricom is the leading mover of today’s stock with a total volume of 9.80 million and a total market capital of 661.08 billion.

Kenya Commercial Bank is also on the list of the movers of today with a total volume of 2.29 million and a total market capital of 130.08 billion.

Others movers are CFC Stanbic Holdings Limited with a volume of 903,200 and a market capital of 32.22 billion and Co-operative bank with a volume of 864,700 and a market capital of 86.54 billion.
