Car and General emerged as the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange with a positive deviation of 9.86 percent at a price of 39.00 shillings per share followed closely with the Standard Group Limited with a percentage increase of 9.43 percent at a price of 29.00 shillings per share.
CFC Stanbic Holdings Limited came in third with a 8.90 percentage gain at a price of 79.50 shillings per share, Longhorn Kenya Limited posted a percentage gain of 7.37 percent at a price of 5.10 shillings per share while Liberty Kenya Holdings Limited closed the top five gainers for the day with 6.93 percent gain at the price of 16.20 shillings per share.

Umeme Limited on the other hand emerged as the top loser of the day registering a negative deviation of 10.00 percent at a price of 18.00 shillings per share followed closely with NIC Bank Limited with a negative deviation of 6.06 percent at a price of 38.75 shillings per share while Olympia Capital Holdings Limited lost 5.88 percent.
Kapchorua Tea Company Limited and Flame Tree Group Holdings Limited posted a negative deviation of 3.92 and 2.86 percent respectively.
