Groundnuts Retail Prices Highest in Malindi

Canadian beans retailed at Sh.7200 in Kisumu, which was the highest price compared to market prices in other towns. In Nakuru, Nairobi, and Malindi, a 90kg bag of the beans went at Sh.5000, Sh.5400 ad Sh.6300 respectively. Rose coco beans retailed at Sh.6300 in Eldoret and Malindi while Dolichos beans was being sold at Sh.10,800 in Eldoret, which was highest. On the other hand, a 90kg bag of green grams retailed highest in Eldoret where it went at Sh.10,800. Price was lowest in Nairobi at Sh.5400. Cow peas, fresh peas and groundnuts retailed at Sh.7200, Sh.1500 and Sh.9900 respectively in Eldoret. Groundnuts retailed at Sh.14,850 in Malindi.
