Why We Need to Empower Women

Women Empowerment has always been a significant topic for development in different societies. Although some still struggle for equality in work places and other professional positions efforts have been made to ensure women from all walks of life get what is right for them.

We all have heard that educating a woman is educating the society, which is very true educated women ensure development of the society as a whole .Research shows that Women population constitutes around 50% of the world population. A large number of women around the world are unemployed. The world economy suffers a lot because of the unequal opportunity for women at workplaces.

Women are equally competent. Nowadays, women are even ahead of men in many socio-economic activities. They are also allowed to go for higher studies encouraging them to show their talents which will not only benefit her individually but to the whole world at large.

The main aim of Women Empowerment is that there will be an overall development of the society. The money that women earn not only help them but it also in developing the society.

Over the years Women Empowerment has led to decrease in domestic violence seeing that they know their rights and duties. Uneducated women are at higher risk for domestic violence than an educated women.

Women are increasingly participating in the national development process. They are making the nation proud by their outstanding performances almost every spheres in various professions hence reducing poverty levels.
