Commercial Transport and Public Vehicle Expo comes to Nairobi

GWETHPRO is set to host the 2016 Commercial Transport and Public Vehicle Expo (COTRANS) on the 27th -30th April 2016 in Nairobi bringing together different stakeholders together to showcase their innovative technologies and equipment for the transport industry in Kenya.

COTRANS, a premier transport and logistics solution expo is here to help in transforming the transport industry in the country. It is designed to directly meet the needs of commercial transport business in the region.

This year, the exhibition aims to attract over 15,000 visitors who will showcase the most comprehensive range of commercial transport, equipment, components, accessories and the latest trends in transport and logistics technology, to the vibrant and diverse cross section of users, fleet operators and decision makers from commercial, public transportation and freight carrying industry in East Africa.

The main objective of the organizers of COTRANS Expo is to make it the largest and most attended transport and logistics targeting fleet owners, logistics companies, business owners, potential investors, airlines/air cargo most with sole or joint purchasing responsibility within their company from across the region.

Kenya is the largest economy and a business hub in East Africa considering the advantage of the Port of Mombasa with a trade volume of 24.9 million tones and over 1 million twenty-foot containers (TUEs) and the largest airport in the region handling approximately 20,000 passengers per day and 250,000 tones in cargo capacity.

Such are the key factors that makes the country´s goods and people movement crucial for the regional economic development with Kenya serving all the neighboring landlocked countries among them Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi and Congo.
