Dry Beans Retailing Highest in Eldoret

Dry maize retail prices were highest in Kisumu were a 90kg bad was being sold at Sh.3,200 while the same quantity was being sold at Sh.2,400 in Mombasa from Sh.2,700. In Nairobi, the bag went at Sh.2,700 from Sh.2,500 early this month. In Eldoret, the 90kg bag prices shot up and was being retailed at Sh.2,500 from Sh.2,200. The following table is a summary of the prices in various towns in the country:
