Kenya Airways flights and operations returned to normal on Friday morning following all day flight disruptions caused by pilots who had called for an industrial action.
“We do value our Guests and thank you for your Patience as we return to Operational normalcy,” KQ said on its Twitter account.
Pilots on Thursday had demanded the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Mbuvi Ngunze.
The carrier on Thursday announced the cancellations of all its flights operating up until 0200 East Africa time except KQ 618 to Mombasa departing Nairobi at 2130 and KQ 619 departing Mombasa at 2310 East Africa Time. “We are still consulting and negotiating with our pilot fraternity that is a vital part of our business and we hope to have an amicable agreement soon,” it assured its passengers.
