Last weekend I attended a wedding in the northern part of Kenya, particularly in Moyale County. I agreed to attend a wedding that far because when Moyale was mentioned, Ethiopia came to my mind. I had heard that it is merely a walking distance from Moyale County.
The wedding was amazing; the Borana traditional songs brought back many happy childhood memories. The songs took me back to my roots,. They made me miss my home more than ever before.
To cut the story short, after the wedding, we went to take a short tour in Ethiopia. When they say “Mombasa raha” I doubt they’ve been to Ethiopia’s capital. It was beautiful with amazing people and really hot weather.
End of day 2 and we were out of cash, (yes, all of us) and we needed to get back to our jobs in Nairobi.
I had a solution in the MCo-op Cash App but we had to walk from the capital of Ethiopia to Moyale to access the Mobile banking Service. I was their only hope. We managed to get to Moyale and using MCo-op Cash, I was able to sort them out. Still waiting for them to refund the money though.
MCo-op Cash is Co-operative Bank’s mobile banking service which enables you to access a variety of banking, money transfer and payment services. All you need is your ID Card/Passport and a registered mobile phone number, it doesn’t matter which mobile network you are on.
There is a lot you could do with Co-operative Bank’s MCo-op Cash app. Among those things are:
The convenience offered by MCo-op Cash should be enough to make you want to register for the app ASAP. The steps are simple and will take you less than 5 minutes to complete.
You will remember me one of these fine days, and you welcome. Adios for now.
