Chasing After Your Dream

If you cannot fly then run, if you cannot run then walk and if you cannot walk then crawl for as long as you are making a movement towards your dream do not stop.

Each and everyone has a dream but the difference comes in accomplishing those dreams. Some just dream, some dream and talk about it and some dream and chase after whatever they dreamt.

You have to be focused and accomplish a number of things if at all you would wish your dreams to be realized.

Dreams in most cases are those things that you wish to achieve in life, those things that you wish you had accomplished.

The first thing that you need is for you to write down your dream. Write it down on a piece of paper that which you wish to achieve. This will show that you are committed and concerned about your dream.

After you have written your dream down, the next step is for you to set your goals. You must have a goal. You must set achievable goals that will encourage you. Remember that if you do not know where you are going then every road takes you there. A goal acts like a direction; it acts as a compass to guide you after your dreams. You must, therefore, set realistic goals. Realistic goals will encourage you and you will easily achieve them and realize their results.

You need to lay down the plan on how you are going to accomplish the goals set. This plan may include the process of putting into consideration issues such as time, finances and other resources.

Work with people who share the same dream as you. Many people have lost focus from accomplishing their dreams because of other people. Do not work with people who would discourage you from accomplishing your dream. Most friends are just experts who have mustered the names of those who have failed before and will always be willing to give you such information for free. Do not listen to such negative voices.

You have to purpose to accomplish your dream and stick unto it. You cannot achieve anything if you have no purpose in life.

You also have to work extra hard. Nothing comes on a silver platter unless you are a Member of Parliament. Remember that hard work pays and for you to achieve your dreams, then you have to put in your best efforts.

Do not let one setback take you back but instead it should act as a stepping stone to propel you to great heights. This simply implies that you should never give up. Giving up is surrendering to defeat and never accept to bow out of the race however tough it might seem.
