Eaagads Emerges Top Gainer as Standard Group Loses

Eaagads Ltd emerged as the top gainer of the day. The company gained 8.86 percent at the price of 21.50 shillings per share followed by Flame Tree Group Holdings Ltd which gained 6.25 percent at the price of 5.95 shillings per share. Kenya Airways Ltd, Longhorn Kenya Ltd and Mumias Sugar Company Ltd gained 5.95, 4.63 and 3.85 percent respectively. See the image below:

Standard Group Ltd was the top loser of the day at the NSE. The company lost 9.24 percent at the price of 27.00 shillings per share. Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation Ltd lost 9.05 percent at the price of 19.10 shillings per share. WPP ScanGroup Ltd, Crown Berger Ltd and Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Ltd lost 8.64, 8.51 and 8.00 percent respectively.

Foreign investors assumed a net buying position by accounting for 75.1% of total market purchases and 71.0% of total market sales while in other EAC markets, in Rwanda, the RSE RSI and RSE ALSI remained constant to close at 142.62 and 130.68 and in Uganda the USE ALSI and USE LSI lost 0.65% and 0.04% respectively to close at 1,719.65 and 388.29.
