Mumias Sugar Closes the Week on Top

Mumias Sugar Company Ltd was the top gainer of the day at the NSE. The miller gained 7.69 percent at the price of 1.40 shillings per share. Kenya Airways Ltd came in second with 6.67 percent at the price of 4.00 shillings per share. Standard Group Ltd, E.A Cables Ltd and KenolKobil Ltd gained 5.98, 4.58 and 3.86 percent respectively.

Today was a black day for Nairobi Securities Exchange Ltd as it lost a whole 28.83 percent at the price of 19.75 shillings per share. It was followed by Fahari Income-REIT which lost 9.00 percent at the price of 18.20 shillings per share. WPP ScanGroup Ltd, ARM Cement Ltd and Flame Tree Group Holdings Ltd lost 6.67, 5.88 and 5.30 percent respectively as shown in the image below:
