Green Grams Retails Highest in Eldoret

Dry maize was retailing highest in Kisumu where it is being sold at Sh.3,200 for every 90kg bag. The same is selling at Sh.3, 100 in Mombasa, Sh.3,000 in Nairobi and Sh.2,700 in Kitui and Nakuru.

Sorghum on the other hand is being sold at sh.4, 950 in Eldoret for a 90kg bag, Sh.4,500 in Kitui, Sh.3,200 in Kisumu and Nairobi and Sh.3,150 in Mombasa.

A 110kg bag of groundnuts is going at Sh.13,750 in Mombasa, Sh.13,500 in Kitui, Sh.12,500 in Nairobi, Sh.11,700 in Eldoret, Sh.11,200 in Kisumu and Sh.1,200 in Nakuru where the market price was lowest.

Rosecoco beans on the other hand was being retailed at Sh.7,650 in Eldoret, Sh.7,200 in Kisumu, Sh.6,200 in Nairobi and Kitui, Sh.5,000 in Nakuru and Sh.4,500 in Kitale. The table below is a summary of the market prices for different commodities across the country:
