Most flights are on Schedule Despite the Delays Says Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways said on Monday most of their flights were on schedule for the entire day despite the disruptions due to a number of its technicians going on a go-slow.
“Today, we had 58 flights scheduled to take off from across the network by 1pm and 51 have departed. We continue to work to reduce disruptions and are advising the affected guests directly,” said in a statement.
“Our technical team remains a vital part of our business and we are currently working to resolve any outstanding issues,” it added.
Earlier in the day, nine flights out of Nairobi had been affected.
“We would like to advise our guests that we are experiencing some delays due to a number of our technicians not showing up for work,” Kenya Airways said in a statement.
However, flights to Mumbai, Mombasa, Cape Town, Harare and Lusaka operated as per schedule Monday morning.
