Groundnuts Retailing Highest in Nakuru

A 98-kilogram bag of Groundnuts is retailing highest in Nakuru at 3,500 shillings in Nakuru and lowest in Kitale, at 1,800 shillings in Kitale. Other towns were selling the same as follows: 3,000 shillings in Nairobi, 2,900 shillings in Mombasa, 2,500 shillings in Kisumu, and 2,300 shillings in Eldoret.

White Irish potatoes are also available in the market and a 50-kilogram bag is being sold as follows: 3,400 shillings in Kisumu, 3,200 shillings in Nakuru, 2,800 shillings in Kitale, 2,700 shillings in Nairobi 2,500 shillings in Mombasa, and 1,800 shillings in Eldoret.

A 126-kilogram bag of cabbages is going at a market price of 1,200 in Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret respectively. The same retailed at 2,700 shillings in Mombasa, 2,200 shillings in Kisumu and 1,400 shillings in Nairobi.

Both retailers and consumers are also able to get tomatoes, dry and spring onions, carrots, capsicums and Kales in some of the towns near them with the following market prices:
