Home Afrika Tops the NSE, Deacons (East Africa) Lags

Home Africa was the top gainer of the day at the NSE on Wednesday. The company gained 9.52 percent at the price of 1.15 shillings per share followed by National Bank with a gain of 5.26 percent at the price of 7.00 shillings per share.

Sameer Africa came in third with 3.64 percent at the price of 2.85 shillings per share. TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) and Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) gained 2.36 and 2.36 percent respectively at the price of 19.50 and 13.00 shillings per share respectively.

Deacons (East Africa) was the top loser of the day. The company lost 9.48 percent at the price of 5.25 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group and Nairobi Business Ventures lost 5.06 and 4.55 percent respectively at the price of 4.20 and 7.50 shillings per share respectively.

Mumias Sugar Company and Fahari Income-REIT closed the top five losers of the day on Wednesday with 4.55 and 4.15 percent respectively at the price of 1.05 and 11.55 shillings per share respectively.
