KP to enhance efficiency with its new Customer Management System

Kenya Power (KP) has launched the Integrated Customer Management System (InCMS) that will give users new experiences in service delivery.
With the new system, payments through third-party EasyPay partners will now be immediately updated in the system.
The company will also introduce additional bill payment channels through the upgraded system such as the use of debit and credit cards.
The system will offer customers a self-service element where they can apply for electricity connections, query bills, check, download and print bill statements, and check their consumption patterns, among other services.
Customers will have to send their existing account number to 95551, to have new accounts from which they can make payments.
This is the first upgrade in the Nairobi Region other regions will be done in subsequent phases.
