East African Cables Edges Out Unga Group To Emerge as Top Gainer on Tuesday

East African Cables has edged out Unga Group to emerge as the top gainer of the day during the Tuesday’s Session with 8.33 percent at the price of 5.20 shillings per share followed by Sasini Tea and Coffee with 8.25 percent at the price of 26.25 shillings.

Others who dominated the top five slots were Uchumi Supermarket, Unga Group and Mumias Sugar Company who gained 6.56, 5.08 and 4.76 percent respectively at the price of 3.25, 31.00 and 1.10 shillings per share respectively.

ARM was the top loser of the day. The company lost 9.72 percent at the price of 13.00 shillings per share followed by Car and General (K) which lost 9.30 percent at the price of 19.50 shillings per share as shown in the image below:

Safaricom Limited has maintained its position as the top mover of the day. The telecommunications company posted a volume of 9.33 million with a market capital of 1.00 trillion. The table below shows other top five movers of the day:
