Unga Group Trounces Others To Open the Week as Top Gainer

Unga Group emerged as the top gainer on Monday with 9.40 percent at the price of 32.00 shillings per share followed by Sanlam Kenya with 5.36 percent at the price of 29.50 shillings.

Home Afrika, Longhorn Kenya, and Eveready East Africa gained 4.76, 4.76 and 4.35 percent respectively at the price of 1.10, 5.50 and 2.40 shillings per share respectively.

Among those who lost on Monday, Sasini Tea and Coffee led the pack with 9.43 percent at the price of 24.00 shillings per share followed by Standard Group with 6.49 percent at the price of 4.67 shillings per share.

On the top movers shelve, Safaricom Limited carried the day by posting a total volume of 6.22 million with a market capital of 991.62 billion. The table below shows top five movers at the NSE on Monday:
