Chillies Retailing Highest in Malindi and Lowest in Kisumu

A 38-kilogram bag of Chillies is retailing at an average market price of 2,023 shillings with the highest market price being 3,040 shillings in Malindi and lowest being 1,200 shillings in Kisumu.

A 142-kilogram bag of spring onions is being sold as follows in selected markets across the country: 3,500 shillings in Mombasa, 3,000 shillings in Kitale, 2,500 shillings in Nairobi, 2,000 shillings in Kisumu, 1,800 shillings in Nakuru and 1,200 shillings in Eldoret.

A 64-kilogram bag of tomatoes, on the other hand, has the following market prices: 10,000 shillings in Eldoret, 7,000 shillings in Kitale, 6,200 shillings in Nairobi, 5,800 shillings in Nakuru, 5,000 shillings in Kisumu, 4,800 shillings in Mombasa and 2,840 shillings in Malindi.

The fruits market is also flooded with different types of fruits. A 93-kilogram bag of Oranges is being sold as follows: 4,800 shillings in Nakuru, 3,600 shillings in Mombasa, 3,800 shillings in Nairobi, 3,300 shillings in Eldoret, 3,040 shillings in Kitale and 3,000 shillings in Kisumu.

A 90-kilogram bag of Avocado is being sold with the following market prices: 4,500 shillings in Mombasa, 3,200 shillings in Malindi, 2,300 shillings in Nairobi, 2,000 shillings in Nakuru, 1,800 shillings in Kisumu, 1,700 shillings in Eldoret and 1,400 shillings in Kitale.
