Telkom internet service restored after users experience outage

Service was restored for Telkom Kenya customers after several internet users experienced outages across the country on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

“Normal Internet service has since been restored. All inconvenience caused is regretted. Thanks for your patience,” said Aldo Mareuse, CEO Telkom.

Around 9am., Telkom Kenya said it was  experiencing internet (data) downtime “ Which has affected all customers trying to access data services.”

It is unknown when the outage started, but some users complained their internet was down for hours before being restored in the afternoon.
