Safaricom Limited Top Mover of the For the Fourth Session This Week

Safaricom Limited emerged as the top mover of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange for the fourth session this week.

The telecommunication company posted 11.55 million shares at a market capitalization of 1.08 trillion.

Stanlib Fahari Income-REIT and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) posted 4.94 and 2.00 million shares respectively at the market capitalization of 6.50 and 6.33 billion respectively.

KenolKobil and Britam Holdings posted 1.81 million and 706,900 shares respectively and a market capitalization of 20.16 and 29.20 billion respectively.

The top loser of the day was East African Portland Cement. The company lost 8.33 percent followed by Carbacid Investments and Liberty Kenya with 5.51 and 3.10 percent respectively.

Total Kenya and KenolKobil lost 3.09 and 2.14 percent respectively at the price of 23.50 and 13.70 shillings per share respectively.

Sasini Tea and Coffee was the top gainer of the day. The company gained 9.73 percent followed by Olympia Capital and Nairobi Business Ventures with a gain of 9.38 percent each.

TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) and Eveready East Africa gained 6.92 and 4.17 percent respectively.
