Sukumawiki Retailing Highest in Mombasa and Lowest in Nakuru

A 50-kilogram bag of Sukuma wiki (kales) is being sold at an average market price of 1,200 shillings across the country with Mombasa having the highest market price of 1,900 while Nakuru had the lowest price of 800 shillings.

A 64-kilogram bag of tomatoes is retailing as follows: 9,500 shillings in Eldoret, 5,500 shillings in Kitale, 4,800 shillings in Nairobi, 4,000 shillings in Mombasa and Kisumu respectively and 3,500 shillings n Nakuru.

A 142-kilogram bag of spring onion on the other hand has the following market prices in selected towns across the country: 3,500 shillins in Mombasa, 3,000 shillings in Kitale, 2,000 shillings I Nairobi and Kisumu respectively, 1,200 shillings in Eldoret and 1,000 shillings in Nakuru.

The fruit market, on the other hand, is filled with a variety of different types of fruits including passion fruits, Oranges, Lemons, Mangoes, Pineapples, Pawpaws and even avocados.

A 126-kilogram bag of Mangoes retailing as follows: 3,000 shillings in Nakuru, 2,600 shillings in Nairobi, 2,520 shillings in Malindi, 2,400 shillings in Kisumu and Kitale respectively, 2,000 shillings in Eldoret and 1,300 shillings in Mombasa.
