How to Book an Online Travel Ticket on Madaraka Express

Passengers traveling on the Madaraka Express can now book their tickets over the internet following the introduction of the online booking system by the Kenya Railways Corporation

The platform will enable a customer to purchase a maximum of five tickets per transaction and pay via M-Pesa.

Upon payment, the customer will receive a transaction confirmation message via phone with an option to check the ticket status online.

Go to metickets.krc.co.ke (https://metickets.krc.co.ke/index.php) 

Select the preferred type of train

Select your starting station

Select your destination

Select the travel date

Select the coach type and indicate the number of passengers

Enter the passenger details

Select the payment option

NOTE

Customers should print the ticket at the Madaraka Express passenger stations using details provided in the confirmation message.

passengers can book tickets thirty (30) days in advance

Group bookings (over 20 pax) must be officially made thirty-two (32) days to the date of travel.
