The hottest day on earth was recorded yesterday (Sunday, 7th January 2018) as climate change continues to materialize.
Sydney and Australia experienced the highest temperatures since 1939. The temperatures were recorded at 47.3 Degrees Celsius.
The whole day, people kept indoors and in freezers as the temperatures rose outside and the metrological departments in those countries have said that the temperatures might rise even higher.
For those who do not know how temperatures are measures, with 47.3 Degrees Celsius in Sydney and Australia, the temperature was just 62.7 Degrees Celsius less than the boiling point of water.
