Sasini Tea and Coffee Emerges as Top Gainer at NSE on Tuesday

Sasini Tea and Coffee was the top gainer of the day at Nairobi Securities Exchange on Tuesday followed by Flame Tree Group.

Sasini Tea and Coffee gained 9.26 percent at the price of 29.50 shillings per share. Flame Tree Group gained 6.67 percent at the price of 4.80 shillings per share.

WPP ScanGroup and Kenya Electricity Generating Company gained 3.66 and 3.45 percent respectively at the price of 18.00 and 30.00 shillings per share respectively.

On the top losers’ table, Standard Group carried the day with 8.96 percent at the price of 30.50 shillings per share.

Longhorn Kenya and Sameer Africa lost 6.90 and 5.45 percent respectively at the price of 5.40 and 2.60 shillings per share respectively.

Carbacid Investments and Uchumi Supermarket lost 3.92 and 3.70 percent respectively at the price of 12.25 and 3.90 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Safaricom Limited. The telecommunication company posted a total of 20.53 million shares followed by Kenya Electricity Generating Company with 11.02 million shares.

Equity Group and Carbacid Investments posted volumes of 1.46 and 1.02 million shares while Kenya Commercial Bank posted 762,600 shares.
