The Kenyan shilling has remained resilient by gaining traction against the US Dollar and the Euro but slightly weakened against the Sterling Pound.
The shilling strengthened against the US Dollar by 0.02 percent from its performance on Friday to close the day at 103.26 level.
Against the Sterling Pound, the Kenyan Shilling weakened 0.15 percent from Friday’s level to 140.04 while against the Euro, the Kenyan Shilling strengthened 0.08 percent from Friday’s level to 124.44.

Market turnover at the bourse declined 40.6 percent to USD 3.55 million or an equivalent of 366.4 million shillings from Friday’s trading.
The NSE 20 and NASI dropped 0.15 percent and 0.14 percent to close at 3,707.66 and 173.93 respectively.
Foreign investors assumed a net buying position by accounting for 72.4 percent of total market purchases and 70.2 percent of total market sales.
In Rwanda, the RSI and the RASI held constant at 135.38 and 133.48 respectively while in Uganda, the USE ALSI dropped 0.004 percent to close at 1,970.26 while the USE LSI held constant at 381.85.
