Meet a Man Who Stayed for a Year without Food

By Soko Directory Team / February 15, 2018

For human beings, food is as important as life. Scientists and nutritionists say that no man can live longer without food and 99 percent of those who have attempted, have ended up dying of heart failure and dehydration.

One man is said to have lived for one year without food but vitamins and supplements in order to cut weight. The 27-year-old man from Scotland, Angus Barbieri, weight 456 pounds and after a year of not eating, from 1965 to 1966, he lost more than 200 pounds.

Angus remains the only man in the world who has ever lived that long without food. It is said that during his ‘fasting’ the man visited the toilet once every between 35 to 47 days.

Do you want to break this record? Don’t try it because you will certainly die.
