Sorghum Market Price Averagely Ksh. 4,407 Across Kenya

A 90-kilogram bag of Sorghum is retailing at an average market price of 4,407 shillings across the Country.

In Kitui, the 90-kilogram bag of Sorghum is going for 7,200 shillings while those in Nakuru and Busia are enjoying lower prices of the same at 2,700 shillings.

A 90-kilogram bag of Finger Millet is retailing as follows: 9,600 shillings in Kisumu, 9,000 shillings in Mombasa, 8,900 shillings in Kitui, 8,100 shillings in Busia, 7,650 shillings in Nairobi, 7,200 shillings in Eldoret and 5,400 shillings in Kitale.

The table below shows the market prices for Dry and Green maize in selected towns across the country:

A variety of beans are also available in the market with the prices having a slight difference for a 90 kilogram.

A 90-kilogram bag of Rosecoco Beans is being sold as follows: 9,000 shillings in Busia, 7,650 shillings in Eldoret, 7,600 shillings in Kisumu, 7,200 shillings in Nairobi, Nakuru and Kitui respectively, 5,600 shillings in Mombasa and 4,800 shillings in Kitale.

A 90-kilogram bag of Mwitemania beans, on the other hand, has the following market prices in selected towns across the country: 7,650 shillings in Eldoret, 7,000 shillings in Nairobi, 6,300 shillings in Kitui, 5,500 shillings in Nakuru, 5,300 shillings in Mombasa and 4,800 shillings in Kitale.
