Dry Onion consumers in Eldoret and Busia are currently buying a 13-kilogram bag of the commodity at 1,560 shillings, which is the highest compared to other towns across the country.
A 13-kilogram of dry onions, on the other hand, is going for 1,500 shillings in Kitale, 1,300 shillings in Kisumu and Nakuru respectively with those in Mombasa buying at 1,250 shillings, Nairobi 1,170 shillings and Embu 1,050.

A 138-kilogram bag of carrots is being sold as follows: 8,280 shillings in Embu, 5,600 shillings in Kitale, 5,520 shillings in Busia, 5,200 shillings in Mombasa, 3,500 shillings in Kisumu, 2,800 shillings in Nairobi and 1,800 shillings in Eldoret.
A 50-kilogram bag of chilies, on the other hand, is retailing with the following market prices: 4,000 shillings in Busia, 3,500 shillings in Embu, 3,000 shillings in Nairobi, Nakuru and Kitale respectively, 2,500 shillings in Kisumu, 2,250 shillings in Mombasa and 1,500 shillings in Eldoret.
