Forbes Magazine released its wealth list of the richest men on earth among them 8 Africans.
Although most people have disputed the list of the richest Africans saying that some African presidents are richer but are never featured.
Among the 8 Africans appearing in the list of the richest men on earth, no Kenyan is among them although in the previous years, President Uhuru Kenyatta (then Deputy Prime Minister) and Bhimji Depar Shah appeared.
In this year’s list, the richest man in Africa is still Aliko Dangote, the Nigerian cement tycoon who has now extended his roots to East Africa. Dangote is said to be worth 1.41 trillion shillings.
The second richest man in Africa is Saudi-Ethiopian businessman Mohammed Al-Amoudi who is said to be worth 840 billion shillings. Others are the Nigerian Mike Adenuka, Angolan Isabel Dos Santos, and South African Patrice Motsepe.
