National Bank Carries the Day at the NSE during Thursday’s Session

National Bank emerged as the top gainer of the day at the NSE during the session on Thursday.

The lender gained 9.55 percent at the price of 8.60 shillings per share followed by Kenya Airways with 5.63 percent at the price of 15.00 shillings per share.

Stanlib Fahari Income- REIT and Jubilee Insurance gained 5.26 and 5.16 percent respectively at the price of 11.00 and 530.00 shillings per share respectively.

Trans-Century closed the top five movers’ table with 4.39 percent at the price of 5.95 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa was the top laggard of the day. The company lost 4.76 percent at the price 2.00 shillings per share.

East African Portland Cement and Kenya Electricity Generating Company lost 2.00 and 1.68 percent respectively at the price of 24.50 and 8.80 shillings per share respectively.

I & M Holdings and Liberty Kenya lost 1.67 and 1.15 percent respectively at the price of 118.00 and 12.85 shillings per share respectively.

KenolKobil retained the top mover’s position selling 66.95 million shares followed by Safaricom PLS with 15.25 million shares.

Barclays Bank, Co-operative Bank, and NIC Bank sold 4.43, 3.68 and 1.34 million shares respectively.
