Express Tops the NSE as ARM “Sees Stars”

Express was the top gainer of the day at Nairobi Securities Exchange on Wednesday with 9.09 percent at the price of 4.80 shillings per share.

Longhorn Kenya was the second top gainer with 5.26 percent at the price of 5.00 shillings per share.

Nation Media Group and Unga Group gained 4.76 and 3.90 percent at the price of 110.00 and 40.00 shillings per share respectively.

Barclays Bank gained 3.54 percent at the price of 13.15 shillings per share.

ARM Cement was the top loser of the day with 7.33 percent at the price of 6.95 shillings per share.

Olympia Capital and Uchumi Supermarket lost 4.92 and 4.76 percent at the price of 2.90 and 2.00 shillings per share respectively.

Standard Chartered Bank and National Bank lost 3.93 and 3.82 percent at the price of 220.00 and 7.55 shillings per share.

Safaricom Plc was the top mover of the day having sold 22.79 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial Bank with 4.31 million shares.

Equity Group, Barclays Bank and Co-operative Bank of Kenya sold 2.05, 1.94, and 1.19 million shares respectively.
