Fresh Cassava Retailing Highest in Isiolo Compared to Other Towns

Fresh Cassava Retailing

Fresh cassava is retailing highest in Isiolo town compared to other towns across the country.

This follows a market survey On different market commodities that showed A 90-Kilogram bag of fresh cassava was being sold at 3,500 Shillings 1n Isiolo while Mombasa had the lowest price 2,200 Shillings.

A 50-Kilogram bag of red Irish potatoes, on the other hand, was being sold as follows: 4,000 Shillings in Isiolo, 3,000 Shillings in Mombasa, 2,750 Shillings in Nairobi, 2,200 Shillings in Eldoret and Kakamega respectively and 1,800 Shillings in Nakuru.

The table below gives a summary of the same in selected Markets Across the Country:

A 90-Kilogram bag 0f Canadian beans are retailing as follows in selected markets: 8,800 Shillings in Mombasa, 7,200 Shillings in Nairobi and Nakuru respectively And 6,000 Shillings in Eldoret and Isiolo.

A 90-Kilogram bag of green grams, on the other hand, was being sold as follows: 10,000 Shillings in Nairobi, 12,600 Shillings in Eldoret, 9,000 Shillings in Isiolo, 8,000 Shillings in Kakamega, 6,700 Shillings in Nakuru And 5,850 Shillings in Nakuru.
