Leading African payment service provider, DPO Group, on Tuesday, announced the appointment of Lourens Brink as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective August 1, 2018.
Brink, who was serving as the Head of Finance for DPO PayGate South Africa, will bring on board 11 years of financial, strategic and operational expertise.
“We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Lourens Brink as DPO Group’s Chief Financial Officer. Brink’s broad mix of financial, sales and product management experience will be a fantastic addition to our group’s Top Executive Team,” said DPO Group CEO, Eran Feinstein.

Brink has a long tenure serving in various leadership roles, extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, corporate financing and strong financial oversight,” said Offer Gat, DPO Group’s chairman.
Brink, who will now be based in Nairobi, has spent the last two years as the head of finance for DPO Southern Africa supervising an aggressive expansion in the area through organic and acquisitive growth. He was also a part of the senior management team in Southern Africa.

Brink has experience and broad expertise in the field of consulting, auditing and financial services sector, having completed his studies at the University of Pretoria, where he got his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts degree in 2006, and his honors and CTA degrees in 2007. He completed his qualifying exams and articles at KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. Lourens also holds an MBA (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch, excelling in finance, leadership, and strategy.
Lourens is an active member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
