The law has finally caught up with Bill Cosby, who is currently 81 years of age, for being a sexual predator and sentenced him to 3 to 10 years.
Cosby was also categorized by the court as a sexual predator, which means he will have to undergo lifetime counseling and be included on the sex offender records.
Cosby has always declined to comment on the matter but there have been numerous claims of him drugging and raping women in the 1970’s with false promises of uplifting their careers.
The actor, famously referred to as ‘America’s Dad ‘had earlier in April during a retrial, been found guilty of three counts of sexual assault for drugging and raping Andrea Constand in 2004.
Bill Cosby requested for bail pending his planned appeal upon which the Pennsylvania judge declined to fine him $25,000 and ordering that he foots the prosecution cost.
Bill Cosby was led away in handcuffs from the courtroom to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
It was a victory for all his victims as they wailed in celebration; Andrea Constand had legitimized their accusations.
Cosby was a household name in the 1980s and 90’s when he starred the Cosby Show TV sitcom where he played a father in a well-to-do African-American family that lived in Brooklyn, New York.
It may have taken decades to have justice delivered as most of the victims feared his status but Cosby’s case is a clear story of riches to rags.
