Current Status and Progress of Taraji Heights by Cytonn Investments

The number of projects currently under Cytonn Real Estate is worth more than 82 billion shillings. With an objective of providing investment grade real estate development solutions by capturing the existing opportunity in the real estate sector, the efforts are paying off.

One of the projects in the portfolio is Taraji Heights. It is a comprehensive mixed-use development, which offers elegant family homes in a prime location in Ruaka, along Limuru road.

Taraji Heights resonates with clients looking for high-quality developments for both investments and residential houses. The project is expected to be complete by mid-2019

The total returns, for investors, are projected to be high at around 28 percent yearly with reference of both capital appreciation and rental yields.

Taraji Heights construction has already commenced and the whole project sits on a 2.8-acre piece of land comprises. It will feature a total of 267 units, which will include 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms with DSQ apartments.

Among the facilities that the residents will have access to include a retail center, a clubhouse with a gym, a swimming pool and complimented by well-manicured gardens and playing fields.

Two lifts for every block, a borehole to supplement the county council water, waste-water treatment plant and a stand-by generator for common areas are some of the additional amenities.

Currently, Block 4 is on the 9th floor and the foundation works are done while the superstructure works are still ongoing. Masonry walling partitions are currently ongoing up to 4th floor.

Block 3, on the other hand, has its foundation complete and the construction has since progressed to the 2nd-floor slab.

Foundation works for Block 2 have been completed and tasks have progressed to the ground floor slab. For Block 1, the excavation works to Basement 2 have commenced.

Meanwhile, the clubhouse superstructure is complete with an ongoing focus set on the fixing of the aluminum windows and doors and the finishes because the foundation and the superstructure are complete.

On the pool area, the leveling of the area around the clubhouse and the swimming pool is currently under progress, whereas works to cover slab for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is 70 percent of the progress.

During the months of March and April, the team ran Easter and an internal sales campaign. The project has also been in an exhibition in activations and is still being advertised on social media constantly.

Consequently, the distribution and client services team are following up on potential leads garnered from these forums. The project has currently sold 14 percent of its units.
