Safaricom’s New Daily Bundles: Putting Affordability and Your Needs First

By Soko Directory Team / October 3, 2018

Today, the internet is a part of everyone and every business. Many rely on connectivity to realize growth and there is no other telcos company that seeks to grow you like Safaricom.

You spoke, and Safaricom listened. The new restructured data packages are now better than before. Regardless of whether you are an individual or a business, they are affordable.

For those with smartphones and a preference for the Daily Bundles, you will be thrilled to know that not only are the bundles cheap, but they now come with free messaging and WhatsApp. How cool is that?

In an era where the majority of Kenyans utilize their mobile phones to connect and reach out through the social media, Safaricom has taken a leap in ensuring reliability and easy network access.

The new Safaricom Daily Bundles allow you to achieve so much for less. They are available for both the Pre-pay and Post-pay customers with a variety of options.

To get the sweet deals offered by the new data bundles all you can do is dial *544# using your phone and choose a package that works for you from the six available choices. You will get Daily Bundles from as low as 5 shillings and as high as 99 shillings.

For starters, the 99-shilling Giga Bundle is back. Although it had been replaced with another option for the same amount, there was a public outcry and the bundles were re-introduced. Thus, you get two choices for 99 shillings – one is the Giga Bundle, which gives you 1GB valid for 24 hours, and 500MB with 500 SMS and free WhatsApp for the same duration.

Admittedly, with the two bundles choices, you can browse all day and enjoy chatting with friends and family without the fear of bundles running out.

The cheapest of the Daily Bundles is the 5 shillings package that gets you 7MB data with 7 SMS valid for 24 hours, but if you need more than that, with 10 shillings, you get 15MB data and 15 SMS. It is worth mentioning that these two packages, together with the Giga Bundle do not come with free WhatsApp.

Nevertheless, from as low as 20 shillings, you can chat for free in WhatsApp or use the 50 SMS that accompanies the 50MB data bundles to communicate through regular texts.

Consecutively, if you text a lot during the day and spend so much time on WhatsApp, then the 50-shilling data package will make your life easier. How do you fancy 150MB with 150SMS and free SMS?

Life is easy with Safaricom and although the Daily Data Bundles have an expiry window of 24 hours, there is no denying that you can achieve so much more browsing the internet.

Remember, the use of the free WhatsApp only happens after the exhaustion of the bundles you bought. This way, you can continue chatting with friends and family for free until the expiry duration is due.
