Spring Onions Retailing Highest in Kisii and Lowest in Eldoret

A 142-kilogram bag of Spring Onions is retailing Highest in Kisii at 5,000 shillings and lowest in Eldoret at 1,200 shillings.

Kisii has the highest prices compared to other towns due to the low supply of the commodity and traders are forced to seek supply from neighboring towns.

A 64-kilogram bag of Tomatoes is being sold at 8,000 shillings in Kisii, 6,000 shillings in Kisumu, 4,200 shillings in Nairobi, 4,000 shillings in Busia, 3,900 shillings in Mombasa, 3,800 shillings in Eldoret, 3,500 shillings in Kitale and 2,500 shillings in Nakuru.

A 50-kilogram bag of Capsicums is retailing as follows in selected markets: 4,000 shillings in Busia, 3,000 shillings in Nakuru and Kitale, 2,750 shillings in Nairobi, 2,400 shillings in Kisumu and 2,000 shillings in Mombasa and Eldoret.
