When Telkom Kenya launched the “Call Bila Worries” product, I thought it was just like any other product that I have lived to see come into the market and disappear the same way it came. This one was different.
Being a proud owner of a Telkom line, I was quite interested in finding out what the new product was all about. As you may remember, I resisted other networks and officially moved to Telkom because of their amazing and captivating mobile data offers.
Now, back to “Call Bila Worries,” this is a bundle from Telkom Kenya that gives one an opportunity to make calls to any network for as low as 1.50 shillings per minute. For those who thought that the new taxes had made making calls so expensive, well, you haven’t tried Telkom’s “Call Bila Worries” yet. All you need is to dial *544# on your Telkom line.
For instance, 19 shillings will give you 10 minutes that you can use to call any network within 24 hours. If you think ten minutes are too little for you, then take the 30 minute or 66-minute options that cost 49 and 99 shillings respectively to be used within 30 days.
What about having 130 minutes for you to call any network within 30 days at for just 199 shillings? That is great. Right?
To subscribe, all you need is to dial *544# on your Telkom line and choose your validity bundle either for 24 hours or 30 days. To check your balance, you just dial *144# and what is more, you can still subscribe to the same bundle, a lower or a higher one before the expiry of your existing bundle. When you buy any bundle before the expiry of your existing bundle, the minutes will accumulate.
